Life imitates Art!

I'm so good! I figured it all out before Wolf Blitzer! Before Fox News! Before lunch!

I can hear him speak to me. It's like a whisper. Shhh. The surf. Spray of water.

"Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend." - Bruce Lee

I try. I really try. I want to empty my mind. It's filled with static and lightning and sparks. Yet, I feel as though I'm very flexible. Put me in almost any situation and I can think/feel my way out of it.

It's early, maybe 3am, I don't know. I could look up to the top right corner of my screen and see, I choose not to see the time.

In bed listening to Eckhart Tolle. He's speaking to me through the tiny speaker in a small soft pillow that I have on top of my right ear. My head isn't on the speaker pillow, because it gives me a crick in the neck, but I like it laying there keeping my head warm.

Tolle is talking and we are sitting on a park bench in my dream. We have a brown paper bag between us filled with sandwiches, a Snickers and a Twix. Two bottles of water. He twists the cap of one open, takes a sip and tells me, "Jerry, you are not just a meaningless fragment in an alien universe, briefly suspended between life and death, allowed a few short-lived pleasures followed by pain and ultimate annihilation."

He reaches in the bag for the Snickers. That was what I wanted after my sandwich, but he's eating the candy-bar first. He peels the wrapper free, takes a bite, looks at the Snickers' insides and continues, "Underneath your outer form, you are connected with something so vast, so immeasurable and sacred, that it cannot be spoken of, yet I am speaking of it now. I am speaking of it now not to give you something to believe in, but to show you how you can know it for yourself."

There's a pounding at the front door! Loud!

I'm shocked and my heart is pounding! Is the house on fire? My throat is burning. I might have a bit of acid reflux from this trauma.

I get up and as I'm sliding on my pants, I hear a woman screaming outside my door, "Jerry, get your goddamn ass up and open this fucking door now!"

No way am I opening this door now! I move over to the curtains and try and take a peek. I see her walking away. Now she's banging on the crazy neighbor's door and screaming, "Get your goddamn ass up and open this fucking door, I mean it!"

She's so drunk she went to the wrong door. She's so blind drunk she doesn't know where she is. Thank goodness neither of them own a car, or can even drive.

Hate it here! How have I allowed myself to end up like this? Living here. Sad. Depressed. Alone. The self hatred equals my hatred for them. Is it just a coincidence his name is "Jerry," or is it a joke the Universe is playing on me? Every time she screams an obscenity at him by name, I flinch. The nerves tingle all over.

These last few weeks I haven't slept well. The constant fighting and yelling and screaming these two people do just on the other side of these paper thin walls. Used to fear one of them shooting the other and a stray bullet coming through the wall and hitting me in the eye, but I believe the walls are so thin, she could throw a knife through it and it would stick me in the eye, or some other delicate and important place with major blood flow.

I want to be like water, so I won't drown.

Maybe I've lost the ability to know what's right and wrong?

I think I used to be pretty good at it, but it's so confusing nowadays. The line keeps getting moved around. People that speak better than I do and seem far more intelligent are making things I know are wrong appear so right. Life can be so confusing to me sometimes!

I see you! Can you find me in this picture?

I'm the pale one!

It smelled like ass and feet that day, but I thought how freeing it all was not to worry about getting an embarrassing boner.

Two drunk women tonight were making fun of my size 13 shoes, or rather the size of my feet. They kept teasing about, "You know what that means!" Stupid and idiotic, but they were drunk. They just wouldn't let it go. Kept at me about it.

Finally to get them to shut up I let each one take turns reaching through my open fly to feel for themselves. Being a germaphobe, I pulled out two surgical gloves for them to wear. I always carry some around. They took their time. Then each one wanted an extra turn. So stupid. But it shut them up, for a bit and then later as I was trying to leave they fought and cried. It's not something I like to brag about at all. It's a burden. I saw a documentary about shy girls growing up with huge breasts and the trauma it caused them. One poor girl spent years in High School binding her breasts with bandages she was so ashamed. Really, I understand their pain. I'm not abnormally large, but it does constantly get in the way. When I was younger I was so traumatized I panicked when I had to shower with the other boys in Gym Class. I suppose that might have something to do with my easy camaraderie with Black Males growing up. I was accepted.

Sure it's funny to laugh and mock what you don't understand, but imagine the difficulty of living with the problem of every time you sit down on the toilet to poop, your penis falls into the water. Bathroom breaks take twice as long because you have to stand up to pee, then once that's out of the way, you have to sit down to finish the other business holding lil' Jerry.

Dating was always difficult. Girls would get so excited at first, but then pain would set in for them and there just never seemed to be enough room for me to fully enjoy.

I don't want to seem like I'm looking for sympathy, just understanding.

There are so many things that can grow out of me, like...

...ideas for stories, wonderful reasons for us to come together, dreams of you, thoughts of you, sounds my voice can make.

I want you to hear me. I'm calling to you. I want you to see me. Just look. I want you to feel me. I'm trying to touch your heart.

Thoughts are things. I want these things to bring you closer to me. I'm not trying to showoff, I just want you to know me.

Here's some stuff I'm doing on one of my CBS Radio Stations, WPBZ The Buzz in West Palm Beach.

I guess I know who I'm dressing up like for Halloween, because today I...

...was Danger Diabolik for a photo-shoot!

I love the comic book and the Mario Bava film, but I think I'll be, "Diabolentz!"

Running around, jumping, cartwheels over a car and other things in my suit today, I realized I can be someone else! Maybe I'm tired of being me!

Relaxing later and listening to David Cross' "Open Letter to Larry the Cable Guy" I discovered something pretty cool, to me anyway!

First, let me say, I love David Cross. He helped me out two times early in my career when he didn't have to, and others wouldn't. Very generous! I think he's brilliant!

Now, listening to this audio from his book, I didn't know who Larry the Cable Guy was in real life. I knew it was a character, but what I didn't know was his real name (Dan Whitney) and that he was a reoccurring guest on my radio show back on The Edge in Dallas! I still have the tapes, before he was Larry the Cable Guy and may upload them in a few days, they are very funny!

Check out David Cross talking about him!

And watch Larry the Cable Guy here on "60 Minutes!"

http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=4948849n

Now, I can't say I hate Larry the Cable Guy, but he's not my kinda thing, however I did like Dan Whitney a lot! And just knowing he's made Millions by aiming his comedy at the simple minded is pretty awesome! I too, would one day like to siphon big money from the lowest common denominator! Knowing Dan like I did, I know he's a really smart guy to pull this off! An inspiration in many ways. He became someone else to succeed. Maybe I need to become someone else?

Oh, now check out the trailer for Mario Bava's fantastic film "Danger: Diabolik!" from 1968 starring John Phillip Law and Marisa Mel.

Here' a poster for my New Movie!

It's just a teaser poster. It has, for me, the scary elements that I know the film will have and I believe the experience will be one of real horror and dread, but with a few laughs and a little sex. Yes, it is a documentary, but that said, I must point out that to me, nothing is more scary than the stories I've been told by campfire.

One of the coolest things to happen to me is the latest tool created for the filmmaker to use the possibilities of the Internet to generate funding for worthwhile projects. See it here.

http://www.jerrylentz.com/

On this page you will see the IndieGoGo widget that allows people to contribute to the film, "Travel With Spirits!"

I was thrilled beyond believe when only a few hours after setting it up a fantastic woman I've never met, Miss Rayburn from Manitoba, Canada contributed $100 to the budget of the film! Amazing! Wonderful! Giving!

There are so many levels of contribution, but she dug deep and jumped in! Awesome! I'd like to think some of my friends, people I actually know, people I've worked with, worked for, people from my own country of America, could help out... Could find it in their hearts to help make this film, too.

All these people I know complaining how we don't want America to be like Canada, yet someone from Canada is the 1st person to help me out on this film. Unbelievable! Sad, really. But not too late to prove your love!

Several friends of mine are in various stages of production on their own films. It's not a race to see who finishes first, but we are keeping track. One friend has found himself halfway through shooting his film to find that his investor has jumped ship and left him holding the bag empty while bills have piled up and promises have been used up. That's a scary movie!

I hope you can find a way to be involved in this film, get your name in it, tell others about it and share in the excitement, thrills and horror!

I'm being duplicated and shared!

My New Jerry Lentz Podcast Episode is now up and ready to be heard by you! It's a good one! I did it while suffering from a hangover, so like the previous "Drunk Podcasts" this is the "Hangover Podcast!"

There's good stuff in it I think, I didn't actually listen as I did it, but I'm guessing it's good!

The show is really doing well in the stats and all the downloads and cool people that are kind enough to email, add me as a "Friend" to their FaceBook accounts, send me nude photos of themselves... Great Listeners I got!

Also, if you go to:
http://www.jerrylentz.com
You'll notice on the Left Sidebar there is a widget looking for contributions to help me finish a new Ghost Hunting Documentary DVD and I haven't been able to see who are all the contributors just yet, but some have offered to help in the funding of this cool project! Check it out! There's more in the posts from the previous days.

I mention it in the podcast too, but you can pledge the needed dollars to fill the gap in funding and if the project fall through you will not lose the money. So it's a safe way of funding my DVD Documentary!

Please Listen to the podcast and share it with friends! Many people email the link to their friends and family and others share it on FaceBook and MySpace and 6 people have told me they burn the mp3s to disc and ship them overseas to their relatives in the Military that aren't allowed Internet access. That ROCKS! I used to be heard on Armed Forces Radio and met many of the guys coming back from Desert Storm who thanked me for reading their letters and playing cool music, so I love seeing all the stats coming from bases overseas and in the states. If you can help out in anyway make this show continue, help keep the websites going, help with funding on the documentary and support it all through buying a T-shirt, Tipping, Donating or letting others who can help, know about it all, please do so! Share the LOVE!
